We provide environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, air quality, remediation, weed management, stormwater management, and other environmental services to clients throughout the country. This role requires the execution of a broad range of tasks supporting compliance, efficiency, and process improvement for Environmental, Natural Resource, and Air Quality Operations, which form the core of work performed at Quandary. Effective communication skills are critical for this position, particularly the ability to understand and integrate needs from various operational and support teams throughout the company. This position will need to be able to effectively gather and interpret a wide range of data and then effectively communicate the results and implications of that data to a range of internal and external groups as needed (e.g. executive leadership team, operational managers and their teams, internal finance and other support teams, clients, government agencies). Duties and Responsibilities: Interpret data, analyze results using appropriate statistical techniques and/or methodologies and provide ongoing reports and/or other visual presentations (i.e., graphs, tables). Assist in developing and maintaining databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality for the Operational team. Acquire and evaluate data from a range of data sources and maintain databases/data systems as needed. Work with management and internal groups to provide data/information as required and/or to develop process improvements. Perform tasks related to Operational Compliance. Gather, process, and communicate health and safety statistics internally and to external parties including OSHA and clients. Assist Operations Director with development, management, and communication of health and safety programs internally and externally. Assist Operations Director with ensuring project setup and management is in compliance with client/contact requirements, including requirements related to local, state, tribal, and federal government work. Gather, process, and communicate data relating to the company's environmental and social impact and performance, and assist with programs to improve in these areas. Assist operational program managers with supply and resource management, including equipment inventory and storage. Perform tasks related to Process Improvement and efficiency of Operations. Work with operational program managers to assist in process improvements at project, program, and organizational levels; Data gathering and organization, SOP, and technical document writing, and documenting internal workflows. Work with finance, business development, and other support teams to implement process improvements as needed within the operational functional groups. Assist in administering project management and finance software (Unanet), including data audits and report and data visualization development as needed by operational teams, including. Developing program or project-specific dashboards and reports, reporting on data related to operational and financial KPIs for projects and the organization, developing ad-hoc reports or other solutions for operational groups and projects. Additional tasks as assigned. Key Capabilities/Skills: Proven working experience as a data analyst or business analyst, or in a position requiring management, interpretation, and communication of varied datasets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills, diligence, and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including an independent drive to develop solutions to unfamiliar problems. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel Background in business and financial principles Knowledge of project management principles and concepts Highly desired skills/abilities Experience with Unanet software, particularly GovCon ERP, or with Knowledge of sql programming for basic query development Visual Basic Experience administering health and safety programs in operational environments. Experience in or supporting technical teams, particularly in a consulting or other fast-paced and varied environment. Familiarity with environmental compliance work Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, preferred. At least 3 Years of experience in a position requiring data management and interpretation. Experience in an engineering, consulting, or other technical field; or with contracting work where operational success depends on doing actual technical tasks. PMI Certifications, preferred. Health and safety certifications/knowledge, preferred. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Prolonged sitting/standing at computer. Lifting heavy objects, include weight maximums (i.e., up to 50 lbs.). Repetitive tasks that can be physically demanding. Expected Salary: $55,000-$70,000 DOE. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week average Work Location: Denver, CO: Reliably commute to Denver office daily.
