Summary Are you an experienced and professional Skid Steer Operator looking for a change? NWT Construction is currently hiring an Skid Steer Operator for the 2023 Construction season! The Skid Steer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the excavator. The operator uses mechanical controls to operate the boom, arm and bucket to excavate and level the ground in multiple phases of the road construction process. Key Responsibilities Operate Bobcat Skid Steer to move materials around the job site including to scrape the ground to gather excess asphalt and dump asphalt in designated areas. Perform regular equipment maintenance and inspections. Assist with labour tasks as needed while the Skid Steer is not required. Use Bobcat to create dig outs as needed. Perform any site preparation and leveling with the Bobcat prior to paving. Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics. Must examine situations in light of the principles of the Code of Ethics. Other operating and labour related duties as required. Qualifications Requirements High School diploma or G. E. D preferred Class 5 driver's license required Minimum 3-5 years experience within the road construction industry 2-3 years. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
