Nursery Practitioner Needed Are you a nursery practitioner passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a specialized ARMS unit in Harrow. This unit caters to the unique needs of 6 children in the morning with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), as well as 6 children in the afternoon with social and communication needs. With a team of 5 staff members, youll collaborate closely to provide exceptional care and support to these wonderful children. Role and Responsibilities of a Nursery Practitioner: Provide personalized care and support to children with SEN, fostering their development and well: being. Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment. Monitor and backss childrens progress, documenting achievements and areas for further development. Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a nursery or educational setting. A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders. Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (e. g. NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Diploma, or equivalent) would be advantageous but not essential. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (with a 4:30 PM finish on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
