An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Natural Capital Consultant to join a team of natural capital and strategic biodiversity specialists within a value-driven independent environmental consultancy. You can be based out of their London, Manchester, Sheffield or Bristol office, with flexible working. You would be coming in at a strategic Associate level, managing projects and working cross discplines across teams. The company has a wealth of experience across a range of sectors and through all stages of planning, development and corporate sustainability. With a deep understanding of the built, natural and social environment, they have an excellent reputation for creating innovative solutions for integrating biodiversity within the built form. The role would entail work on a variety of natural capital projects; many of which would involve bespoke approaches to measurement and valuation of natural capital, ecosystem service flow and biodiversity value. This might involve the use of metrics such as the Biodiversity Metric 3.1 or the Environmental Benefits from Nature (EBN) tool, alongside myriad other tools and backssment methodologies. Projects may involve the creation of nature positive strategies for real estate managers or biodiversity and carbon enhancement plans for landscape management. Every project the natural capital team work on aims to deliver gains for nature, carbon and people, alongside all other ecosystem services, leveraged using a wide array of financial and regulatory drivers. Alongside managing projects, the successful candidate would be responsible for tender production, client liaison, financial management and project programming. Undertaking technical reviews, providing outward facing support and inputting into business generation can also be expected. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate that they are: Ideally 7+ years in Ecology / Environmental Consultancy, with experience working on Natural. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
