Rodale National On-line Advertising Director-Men's Health New York , NY Inc. is currently seeking a National On-line Advertising Director to oversee all sales functionality for Men'sHealthMag.com. Based in our New York City office, this position will be responsible for assisting the sales team in prospecting, developing persuasive pitches, securing new business and managing current advertising partners. The ideal candidate for this role must have a demonstrated record of success in negotiating and closing deals. This executive will be business savvy with the proven expertise to plan, develop and execute on-line ad sales strategies. The successful applicant will be a sharp thinker with excellent organizational skills and have the expertise to navigate a multiplatform integrated business environment. Assignments include: · Manage a sales team, as well as outside agency representatives, to sell the advertising inventory and integrated packages · Develop, grow and maintain a base of strategic on-line advertising partners · Break new accounts across categories · Participate in strategic planning for new on-line products and traffic-driving initiatives · Create and sell custom solutions tailored to our clients objectives · Negotiate advertising contracts · Serve as liaison with digital editors · Accurately reporting, forecasting and exceeding revenue goals · Serve as expert on on-line media and keep abreast of technology and industry developments
