ZGF is seeking a Mid Level Interior Designer for the Vancouver office. We are looking for strong leaders and thoughtful designers with excellent communication and technical skills to join our vibrant and diverse culture of designers, planners, strategists, and industry thought leaders. Candidates should have between 6-10 years of experience in an interior design or architecture firm with a focus on interiors for healthcare. As a Mid Level Interior Designer , you will…. Perform interior design/architectural assignments with general direction, no immediate supervision, and work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design solutions Assist in developing design and technical solutions for projects in all phases, including graphics, renderings, and performance metrics for the successful communication of the design goals Provide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teams Have a passion for programming, planning, materiality, detailing, and furnishings Research products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentation Assist in the project’s narrative for meeting building performance goals, including metrics, verification, and design integration Contribute to the effective performance of the Project Team regarding project quality, schedule, and budget Assist in the execution of Construction Administration responsibilities and project close-out Contribute to general office-wide initiatives and marketing efforts Qualifications: NCIDQ certification and/or architectural licensure is strongly preferred and 6-10 years of related experience with a focus on interiors for healthcare, hospitality experience is considered an asset A professional Interior Design or Architectural degree LEED, WELL, or FITWEL accreditation are strongly preferred Proficiency in Revit and in creating design presentations Proficient 3D modeling and rendering.
