Job Description Summary The Medical Impact Lead Platforms and Intelligence, Associate Director will support the development and integration of intelligence in respective therapeutic areas to achieve strategic objectives and priorities. Assist collaborators across the organization in making data-driven decisions based on desired outcomes. Develop analytical platforms and tools to efficiently identify actionable insights. Leverage consultative techniques and executive communication methodologies to provide recommendations and drive business outcomes. .Location: Remote: This position can be based remotely in US. Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. Job Description Major accountabilities: Self-Sustaining Learning Systems - support the development and implementation across US MA of the Medical Platforms and Intelligence framework for building self-sustaining learning systems. Leverage various forms of research, platforms, and analytics to intentionally learn and grow our organization. Emphasis on consistency, scalability and sharing collective experiences for effective learning. Intelligence Platforms - unify existing and develop new platforms that enable us to provide actionable recommendations with evidence. Seek to find new ways of identifying signals, discovering trends, and predicting future occurrences using the latest technologies and tools. Develop and deploy new analytical capabilities as needed. Measurement and Reporting - support our US Medical Affairs organization in defining success criteria for their respective strategies. Work with Medical Teams and Functional Teams across US MA to define goals and implement measurement. Create and update dashboards of key performance indicators to drive accountability and support a 'pivot or persevere' approach of continuous improvement. Partner with Medical Strategy and across US MA to ensure impact is driving resource allocation, tactic prioritization, and optimal engagement strategies with customers. Enable Launch Excellence - confirm pre-launch and priority brands within respective therapeutic areas have identified and functionally aligned objectives to improve patient outcomes aligned to the patient journey. Ensure leading indicators are identified and implemented to support a 'pivot or persevere' approach to decision-making. Close partnership with Launch Co-Pilots and Medical Strategy Teams is required. Simplifying the Operating Model - serve as the single point of contact between US Medical Affairs teams, MIT, vendors, and cross-functional partners for respective therapeutic areas to implement our simplified operating model and holistic management of technology, intelligence, data and analytics capabilities. Seamlessly collaborate across teams as well as MIT including (I) Data Strategy, Stewardship and Governance, (II) Real World Evidence Generation, and (III) Digital Engagement and Field Force Enablement Minimum Requirements: Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University Degree required. Advanced degree preferred (MS, MPA, MPH, MBA, MD, PhD, or PharmD) Minimum 7 years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or related industry (e.g. healthcare industry consulting) Prior consulting or related experience strongly preferred Process focused mindset with strong analytical and communication skills Experience or formal education in Operational Research Digital first approach with experience in data projects (sourcing, processing, modeling) Experience in organizational effectiveness Experience applying technology to solve business problems Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs, Clinical Development or related pharmaceutical company research related function preferred Skills: Medical Education and Scientific Engagement. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400.00 and $237,600.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
