The Medical Director serves as the senior administrator over medical services, which includes direct supervision of the Medical Staff and collaborates with other senior leadership for the overall health center planning, implementing, directing and evaluating the comprehensive programs, services and activities for Watkins Health Services. The incumbent oversees all medical education, quality improvement activities, accreditation preparation, and acts as a patient advocate on patient care issues in accordance with established standards and ethics of medical practice.The position will also provide direct medical care on half to one day per week in their clinical specialty for eligible patients.
