To maintain their status as a market leader within the sector, this manufacturer has ambitious but stable expansion and investment strategies over the next 5-10 years in which this individual as Mechanical Technical Authority will be key to delivering and facilitating. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technical Authority; Responsible for the following: Engineering Standards, process safety management standards, maintenance, improvement and project work processes, equipment records and data. Ensure new technologies are leveraged and maintained across site. Partner with other business functions to support and implement standards effectively and whilst managing risk. Ensure engineering work is controlled in accordance with engineering arrangements and that all Legal, Regulatory, Contractual, COMAH and Governance obligations are met. Certified Competent Person for Pressure Systems. To approve, review and maintain all Pressure System Written Schemes of Examination. Working across multiple manufacturing processes, ensuing relevant.
