Description:
We are currently looking for mechanical assemblers that will be building and remanufacturing electrical transformers. first, second, and third shift positions are available. Responsibilities: Winding machine set-up and operationStacking core steelHooking the switch to the coil assemblyPerform tank and lid cleaning, pressure check tanks, and prep for paint.Move raw materials, components, assemblies, and finish units to point of use.Fill transformers with oil.Follows safety rules and/or guidelines while performing daily work Additional responsibilities: Be willing to be trained in the proper use of cranes, hoist, forklifts, pallet jacks and various hand held power tools and other hand tools.Perform preventive maintenance activities. Knowledge and Skill qualifications. A min of six months manufacturing background.Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.Stable work historyHigh-school certificate or GED.Verbal and written correspondence abilitiesThis is a full-time position, availability to work any day of the week is preferred. Compensation & Rewards. Based on background compensation will range from $10.60/hr to $18.00/hrOvertime availableOpportunity to become a full-time employee of SW Electric with solid benefits ( dental, vision, health, paid holidays, paid time off)
