Description:
Major Responsibilities:1. Loads and unloads trucks with either incoming or outgoing materials. Inventories/counts and moves raw and finished materials from the production floor or storage areas to their intended destination.2. Operates the company truck to move materials to or from plant.3. Unloads steel trucks as they arrive and moves steel to storage areas.4. Operates sit-down lift and high-reach lift trucks as necessary to store or deliver materials.5. Accurately reports daily activities as required.6. Material flow, presentation and replenishment experience preferred. 7. Knowledge of inventory control processes such as cycle counting and scrap reporting are preferred. 8. Inventories, prepares and packages aftermarket materials for shipment.9. Proficient in using handheld scanner and/or pc to perform inventory transactions.10. Coordinates UPS shipments and receipts.11. Keeps work areas clean and free of hazards.12. Exercises safe work habits13. Maintain a clean safety record for operating all material handling equipment.14. Performs other duties as assigned by the Area Leader or Supervisor.Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED required.* Must be able to read and write legibly* Ability to work overtime, as production demands require* Ability to function as an effective team member* Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems* Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions* Must maintain a current lift truck operators license* Must be able to physically lift 40 lbs.* Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment* Must be adaptable to different shifts. The specific shift will be determined based on current openings at the time of hireShift Schedule:1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:30pm2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm3rd Shift: Sunday Night- Friday Morning 10:30pm-6:30amBenefits: Medical, Dental and Vision401k and Company paid pension programFive 8-hours shiftsMonday- FridayCompany provided uniforms11 paid holidaysGenerous vacation programHendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
