DESCRIPTION Performance Physical Therapy is a private outpatient orthopedic/sports rehabilitation practice with 3 locations in Fairfield County, Connecticut. The Performance's Massage Therapist places an emphasis on the highest of quality and attentive client care. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with an excellent reputation, and to work in 1 of our beautiful state of the art facilities in Connecticut. DUTIES Perform various types of massage therapy according to high quality Performance's standards. Must maintain a clean and safe workplace atmosphere. Must be responsible to communicate and transcribe all info regarding client's history and massage therapy services performed. Educates clients on how to improve their posture and teach them strengthening, stretching, and rehabilitative exercises and relaxation techniques. Must be technically comfortable with the Apple & Microsoft environment with general internet skills. Must agree to work irregular office hours to be available when clients request a massage. REQUIREMENTS A Massage Therapist candidate must currently have the following required credentials: Associate's degree or certification equivalent with a min of 3yrs job-related skills. A Connecticut state license in Massage Therapy and accreditation by the Commission on Massage Therapy (COMPTA). Prefer 3+ years of background as a physical therapist. Must be an exceptionally kind & caring customer service talent with the expertise to travel between several Connecticut Performance locations.
