We currently seek aMaintenance Mechanicto work a12-hour night shift(with rotating days off) at ourWheeling,ILmanufacturing facility. The successful applicant will repair and troubleshoot equipment problems on thermoforming, extruder and punch presses; perform machining misc. including components using mills, lathes and surface grinders to accomplish repairs; stick, MIG and gas welding to modify equipment and make new fixtures; replace motors, gearboxes, chain drive components, rollers, and other items; and perform frequent preventative maintenance functions on all equipment to prevent unplanned down time. HS diploma/GED and previous background working in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment is required. Expertise to speak, read, and write proficiently in English preferred.
