Our Protective Services Division provides professional, trained security staff to protect people and business assets throughout Canada, including over 4000 personnel in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Garda World’s Mobile support and response group in the GTA is staffed 7/24 with personnel who serve market-focused customer business units. It also contains command and control personnel who specialize in various operational disciplines such as mobile duty-coordination, alarm dispatch, call intake, and National Service Desk ticketing. Title: Manager: Mobile Support and Response Division GTA This position reports directly to the Regional Director, although daily communications with other management representatives in the mobile division regarding specific tasks and priorities as necessary. This position frequently communicates with clients, site staff, external contacts, Garda World managers and other personnel. Responsibilities: Plan effective routes for Mobile patrols. Manages the mobile division which is an assigned group of Mobile Supervisors, Mobile response personnel and administrators, and other operational staff who are accountable for the operational performance all assigned sites within their portfolio. Review financial status of division to develop and implement operational efficiencies. Renews annual contracts with existing clients, ensuring rate increases where applicable. Conduct audit of operational performance to ensure maximum efficiency. Through proactive planning, forecast and implement adjustments to resource levels based on anticipated operational need. Ensure resources are appropriately and efficiently allocated to sites and sectors and that priorities are covered adequately without overtime.
