Job Summary: The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24 hour, seven day a week functions of a clinical nursing unit(s). What you will do in this role: Administers, plans and evaluates the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care. Develops goals, policies and procedures, prepares and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed. Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behavior What qualifications you will need: Florida RN licensure required Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred A minimum of one (1) year management experience is preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved). - MUST HAVE ASN - MUST have at least 3-5 years of charge RN exp in the ER -Salary- ranges from $85-105K heavily based on experience (would be willing to push to $108-110K for a STELLAR candidate, but no higher than that) Powered by JazzHR
