Are you a natural born leader with the ability to plan, organize, and evaluate? Do you have a " fix it" attitude and enjoy mentoring others? If so, we are looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to the fulfillment of all preventative maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial assets in the Campbell River area. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities General maintenance and upkeep on all facilities under management by the group Build and improve upon the Planned Preventative Maintenance program Complete daily site walks to diagnose, action, and/or repair issues Prioritize all project work orders, preventative maintenance work orders, and special requests. Ensure that all work orders are closed and Tech Notes completed online. Responsible for care and maintenance of company tools and motorized landscape equipment Provide training, management and crew scheduling of subordinate maintenance team members. Follow safety procedures during all repairs and maintenance Load/unload vehicles and/or boats with supplies, equipment, and material Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records Providing cross-departmental support to assist with other areas of operation around town, such as assistance with landscaping work Support the hiring and training of new team members Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standard Requirements 5+ years of maintenance or mechanic experience 2+ years of management experience Valid class 5 Drivers License Current Level 3 First Aid considered an asset Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment Computer skills to use internet and corporate property software Physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50lbs On-call availability for after hours emergencies On-call availability in the winter months for snow removal duties Powered by Jazz HR.
