We are working with a fantastic client who is looking to strengthen its engineering team after rolling out a new programme of investment in the plant and machinery within their facility based just off the M1 Motorway in Leicestershire, Reporting to the engineering manager this role will be leading a multi skilled team of maintenance engineers to ensure that production isnt affected by effective maintenance and engineering support to the business. The role - Maintenance Supervisor - Leading your team ensuring that all works are completed in order of priority to agreed Processes and standards - Overseeing the installation phase of any new plant or equipment coming into the manufacturing facility, - Ensure that any breakdowns are well resourced as well as any PPMs are completed within - Manage your team in regards to rotas, holidays and absences to ensure all works are covered, identifying development opportunities - Be responsible for ordering consumables and spares as required are replenished by passing on requests to the stores person - Planning the installation, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of all electro/mechanical equipment and facilities - Keeping all paperwork and reporting up to date Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Maintenance Supervisor - Qualified to a good level within mechanical or electrical engineering - Knowledge of Motors, Gearboxes, Hydraulics - Previous experience of working in an industrial environment - Able to read Pneumatic, Hydraulic.
