Job Title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our team. The substitute teacher will be responsible for providing instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This is a long-term position with a daily rate of $125, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities: Deliver instruction based on lesson plans provided by the absent classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of learning for students. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students. Provide feedback on student progress and communicate with school staff and parents/guardians as needed. Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance tracking and reporting. Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall academic and social-emotional development of students. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit preferred. Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is an asset. Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students in learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of classroom settings and grade levels. Dedication to supporting student success and fostering a positive learning environment. Additional Information: This is a long-term substitute position with a daily rate of $125. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
