Job Quick Facts:--- Specialty: Urology --- Job Type: Locum Tenens --- Facility Location: Bismarck, ND --- Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient --- Reason For Coverage: Supplemental --- Coverage Period: Apr 1, 2024 - Ongoing --- Coverage Type: Clinical Only --- Shift Schedule: 8a-5p - Clinic: 3 days/week - Surgery: 2 days/week --- Patient Demographics: 30 per day --- No. of Surgeries: - 5 scheduled per day - 4 possible emergent surgeries per week --- Rounding included: Yes, 1-3 patients daily --- Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 CNA --- Procedures: Cystoscopies & Biopsies - must be able to perform prostate biopsies w/ an RN (no ultrasound tech at the site) --- Additional Info: - New IP consults: must be seen face to face within 24hrs. - Robotics may be available but not required - Nurse does assist with the procedures but does not operate the ultrasound machine --- EMR: Epic --- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
