Waltham Forest are looking for a Legal Officer to join their Housing Law team, where you will be supported by Senior Lawyers. Waltham Forest are looking for a Legal Officer to join their Housing Law team, where you will be supported by Senior Lawyers. Within a Legal Officer position you would be attending the office once every 1-2 weeks. ROLE: Legal officer SALARY: £20-£22ph BASED: London OFFICE: Hybrid The Role/ Responsibilities and Person- Working in housing areas such as non-rent possession work, providing support in Antisocial Behaviour. working alongside lawyers/supporting lawyers in some of the cases they hold such as county court appealinteractionperience in having conduct of litigation/ Housing matters, working efficiently in a legal case management system, ability to draft correspondence and pleadings. The Person Experience within a Legal Officer/Paralegal position with Litigation, Housing or Public Law Previous working experience within a local authority / Public sector service would be a benefit. Ability to use Outlook, and a web browser to access information good technology skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
