We have an excellent opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the Legal & Governance department. The position will be based in the East riding of Yorkshire council, where you will be joining a supportive, fast pace team. More info Below: ROLE: Governance & Feedback Legal Assistant LOCATION: Beverley CONTRACT: 3 months on going RATE: £10.50- £14 The Role- Assist in the coordination of the Council's corporate Feedback system ensuring the delivery of the Feedback Policy Support ongoing compliance with Data Protection legislation. Assist in the delivery of subject access requests, Freedom of Information requests, dealing with data protection incidents and providing advice to staff. Guidance or advice in relation to policies, procedures, documents or legislation. Has undertaken research activity, including data analysis and report preparation. The Person- Legal Assistant/Admin experience in a Legal Background. Knowledge of data protection legislation and its application. Knowledge of feedback and customer management practices.
