We are currently looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Midhurst, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will deliver, treat and empower each young person to live a safe and independent life and reach their individual potential. Whats in it for you as a Lead Occupational Therapist: - Salary of £44,000 to £46,000 dependant on experience reviewed annually - £500o welcome bonus - 33 days holiday including bank holidays - plus your birthday off - Free meals and parking - Wellbeing support and activities - Career development and training - Pension contribution - Life Assurance - Enhanced Maternity Package Your main responsibilities as a Lead Occupational Therapist: - Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking patient backssments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis - Ensure the team maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patients rehabilitation/progress - Attend any meetings called by the Senior Management Team and will develop therapies and make any changes to the therapy provision according to the agreed local occupational therapy strategy at the hospital which will change over time - Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff - Maintain and develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team - Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers throughout.
