Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Laborer Industry: Landscaping, Grounds Maintenance Location: DC Metro Area Employment Type : Seasonal Required Education : H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience : 2-Year JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Mow and edge grounds using power mowers and edger. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, saws, hedge or brush trimmers; Remove weeds from bedding areas; Water lawns, trees, and plants using portable sprinkler system, watering hose, or watering cans; Gather and remove litter and landscape debris; Ensure landscape maintenance is completed per the job specifications; Demonstrate proper use of landscape equipment; Perform minor equipment repairs (where applicable); Demonstrate courteous and professional customer service skills; Communicate clearly and effectively with crew members and supervisor; JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of prior landscape maintenance experience required.
