Come be part of something special - start your journey today! Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions has an opening for a Laboratory Technician based in the Tomball, TX Technology Center. This role will provide analytical testing support for the Customer Analytical Services Laboratory. Position Title: Laboratory Technician Essential Responsibilities General Responsibilities Perform daily analyses per Standard Operating Procedures guidelines Meet established due dates for all work assigned Ensure quality of all results through adherence to the Quality Management System requirements Follow all EHS policies and procedures Provide support for other laboratory areas as assigned Qualifications / Requirements Associates degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related field Analytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or techniques Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environment Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent computer skills including both Google and MS Office products Desired Characteristics B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related science Prior experience performing analyses for industrial water or process systems Experience using a LabWare or similar LIMS Experience working in an ISO 9001 (or similar) certified organization Skilled in one or more of the following areas: spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, spectrophotometry, microscopy, electrochemistry, filtrations, extractions, gravimetry, chromatography We offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.
