We operate three food and shop stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), twenty-eight Angry Otter liquor stores, two feed mills, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Angry Otter Tap & Forno and Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, the Sawbucks pub in South Surrey and twenty-five gas station/convenience stores. Role Overview: Reporting to the General Manager, the Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall food service operations of the Highwayman Pub located in Abbotsford, BC. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for food preparation and service of all food items while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation of food, timeliness of service, cleanliness and strict adherence to local government food safety rules and company policies. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for maintaining budgeted food and labor costs as well as implementation and adherence to company programs, policies and procedures and human resources related activities. What you will do: The Kitchen Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager with the overall safe, effective operations of the Highwayman Pub based on the following: Ensures that quality, quantity, and presentation of all food prepared meets standards for freshness, appearance, and consistency.
