Permanent, Full Time Benefits: • Established, growing business • Opportunity for career progression and to be trained by the best in the business• Company Pension• Free Parking Do you have experience of using Auto CADIf not, are you experienced in manufacturing/engineering and would like to train to be a CAD Technician Maybe you already have 3D modelling skills using programs such as Solidworks We’re working with a bespoke design and fit manufacturer based in Ramsgate with core values that incorporate employee development and wellbeing at their heart. They have a very busy office but with a relaxed atmosphere, and it’s a great place to work. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Junior CAD Technician to join their busy team. Main Duties - Junior CAD Technician: • Assisting the design manager with 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for design approval and manufacture. • Detailing progress and design status of drawings via project management software. • Material estimates for procurement. • Occasional site visits for surveys and photography. Skills - Junior CAD Technician: • Ideally Auto CAD as minimum but 3D modelling skills in software such as Inventor/Solidworks highly advantageous. • Surveying – ability to take and record accurate measurements. • Teamwork – Communication and working in close partnership with other departments across multiple projects. • Data Input – Keeping project progress data up to date and accurate. • Ensure that company standards are complied with. • Ability to effectively manage your time whilst maintaining accuracy, • Diligent and timely replies to queries and questions from customers and other departments. Experience – Junior CAD Technician• Design within the construction industry – working as an Architectural Technician or CAD Technician in construction. • All types of CAD engineering design experience considered. • Applicants with good experience.
