I.T. Manager Summary This position is responsible for maintaining essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, printers, software and hardware. Handles business-critical IT tasks and systems administration. Tracks and maintains hardware and software inventory. Leads and implements projects and solutions that lead to improvements and efficiencies for office and production personnel. Develops and maintains vendor relationships. Provides direction for the IT staff for our facility operating in Mexico. Develops/supports IT strategy for the company. Essential Duties: Monitor/supervise daily operations, including server hardware, software, operating systems and other related systems Configure/install new hardware and software solutions; including, but not limited to, switches, firewalls, servers, laptops, PCs, printers and other peripherals Evaluate technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance Select/purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary Provide I.T. support for our Mexico location; including shared implementation Develop reports using PLEX ERP and other resources (SQL; IntelliPlex; Excel; Etc.) Assist in troubleshooting PLEX ERP issues; security roles and configurations Assist in data retention and retrieval of legacy systems data Create/maintain tracking information of I.T. assets in storage and active areas Verify correct execution of data backup operations and data transfer to backup media Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes Develop training materials and document procedures Coordinate IT activities and goals for Mexico facility Provide direction and support for I.T. team members (US and Mexico) Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for I.T. needs Knowledge & Skills Summary: Windows Server Operating Systems; including associated roles (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.) Networking and VoIP; Microsoft Office; SQL; Firewall 2+ years of ERP operations/configuration; PLEX Online ERP experience is a major plus Work Schedule 8-hour shift Monday through Friday Additional as needed Job Type Full time, Salaried, Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; or at minimum High School Diploma or GED with certifications in related field (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.) 5+ years of network/IT administration with 2+ years of management experience preferred Prior work experience as an IT manager or in a related position is a plus Benefits 401(k) 401(k) match Company paid Life Insurance Health insurance Wellness program (offers premium discount for the medical plan) Health savings account, including company contribution Dental insurance Vision insurance Other Section 125 offerings Short term/Long Term Disability Tuition reimbursement Vacation and Holiday Pay We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
