We are currently seeking an Interim Health & Safety Manager to join our team for a duration interim assignment. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our already robust safety culture within the food manufacturing environment. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our already robust safety culture within the food manufacturing environment. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Conduct risk backssments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Lead safety training and awareness programs to empower our team members to prioritize safety. Investigate incidents and accidents, compiling detailed reports and recommending preventative measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety practices into daily operations. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes. NEBOSH certification National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Proven experience in Health & Safety management within the food manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
