Your opportunity: Under the supervision of the Manager, Research and Collaborative Applications, the Information Systems Analyst provides a range of services to support the activities of the Academic Research & Collaborative Technologies (ARC) group. You will play an essential role in supporting the rollout and uptake of generative AI and similar kinds of technology at the University through the planning, testing, implementation and improvement of AI systems and solutions, and by developing and delivering training and support to individuals and groups of users. The successful candidate will bea self-starter, possess strong communication and organizational skills and excel in working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team with stakeholders and technical staff from across the University. Your responsibilities will include: Planning the implementation of new business system processes backssing needs and contributing to the development of business systems Analyzing and documenting business requirements Writing complex specifications based on system requirements Evaluating new technologies or new and modified businesses processes to determine enhancement requirements Analyzing existing service and process procedures and recommending changes Keeping well-informed on policies, procedures, regulations and new technology Training end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems Essential Qualifications:.
