Mercersburg Academy is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for a full-time position.Summary: The Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning “HVAC” Technician is responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of commercial and residential equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, fan coil units, intake and exhaust fans, BMS controls, and air compressors throughout the campus.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required At least five years experience as an HVAC Technician. HVAC Level Universal required Requires valid driver’s license and state-mandated background clearances Computer literacy with knowledge of Trane or Johnson Controls software, Microsoft Office and email communication systems. Will be required to learn and use web-based campus work order system Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education approved by Human Resources Excellent pay and benefits including paid vacation and holidays, retirement plan with a generous employer match, and half-day Fridays in the summer. recblid ga5qsfq04g81ut7v7l3odwxmw00plt
