Profession: Human Resources -> Human Resources Generalist Human Resources for Training & Hiring**This job necessitates for enlistment into Active Army or Army Reserves**Human Resources Specialists are central to providing the Army with qualified Soldiers. A Human Resources Specialists primarily helps Soldiers develop their Army careers, but also provides personnel support and assistance to all divisions of the Army. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Specialist may include:Organizing, maintaining and reviewing personnel records Entering and retrieving personnel info using computers Processing recommendations for awards and decorations Arranging awards ceremonies Preparing, updating and coordinating requests for evaluations Preparing and monitoring Soldier requests for ID cards and tags, leaves of absence and passes Ordering and maintaining office supplies Maintaining filing systems Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen or Naturlized CitizenBetween the ages of 17-41No felonies convictionsNo history of drug or alcohol abuseMust have a High-school certificate or GEDMust be able to pass the Armed Forces Test (ASVAB)Must be able to pass a full Medical ExamAble to obtain a Secret ClearanceTraining:Job training consists of 7 to nine weeks of classroom instruction.
