In Short: Strategically manage the Human Resources Department, overseeing benefits, recruitment, personnel records, legal compliance and employee relations. Role and Responsibilities: Provide guidance to managers and supervisors with conducting performance evaluations, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc. Oversee the administration of the company's health, wellness program, dental, life, long and short term disability insurances, 401(k) employee assistance program and employee anniversary program Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs Review bi-weekly timecards, create payroll batch for hourly Rockstars and compile payroll documentation for Payroll Processor Maintain Rockstars paid time off balances and enter new annual accruals Monitor attendance occurrences and assist supervisors with disciplinary action Process FMLA requests and paperwork Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new Rockstars and upcoming benefit-eligible Rockstars Research, contact, maintain relationships and administration of insurance carriers, 401(k) administrators, and other outside resources Investigate and address grievances or complaints Coach employees with personal concerns and assessments; provides recommendations and referrals for counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment Design, plan, and implement classes, speakers, seminars, personal training, and voluntary fitness assessments to promote healthy lifestyles In accordance with applicable law, assess and analyze the general physical and mental health needs of the employee population, and develop plans and programs to support these needs Advise on terminations, to ensure that reasons are well documented and are not discriminatory Implement company's wellness program, including but not limited to; tracking attendance, participation, or performance data related to wellness events; marketing all activities, developing and monitoring wellness budget Oversee accurate and complete personnel records. Ensure that rules concerning confidentiality are followed Represent organization at personnel related hearings and investigations Continually monitor and recommend new or revise policies or practices in all areas of Human Resources that comply with State and Federal Laws Perform miscellaneous Human Resources projects as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience Strong organizational, problem solving, communications, and project management skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel Knowledge of employment and payroll laws and administration Competencies Communication Proficiency Organizational Skills Time Management Leadership Presentation Skills Diversity and Inclusion Teamwork Orientation Project Management Work Conditions Generally Office Environment, but occasionally manufacturing settings Hours will be full-time Job Posted by ApplicantPro
