Human Resources Director - (AM41741) Job Requisition ID: AM41741Position title: Human Resources DirectorPosition category: Full timeLocation: Norcross, GA Job Description: JOB SUMMARYThe Director, Human Resources will partner with Corporate Functions management to provide HR leadership in support of business goals. Assignments include leading human resources programs for select client groups including change management, talent acquisition and development, performance and compensation management, succession planning, associate engagement, employee relations, organizational design and restructuring.This position will also collaborate with senior HR leadership to drive and deliver on strategic HR priorities focusing on creating competitive advantage, building business leader capability and ensuring an effective and efficient HR service delivery model. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports To: Director, Human Resources – Corporate FunctionsPeers: HR Leaders supporting Business Groups and HR Shared Services teams including Talent & OD, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, Employee Relations and ComplianceDirect Reports: None RESPONSIBILITIES:- SPHR/PHR certification preferred.Job Related experience:· Min of 8yrs of progressive human resources generalist background required.· Background in both corporate and field HR roles is desirable.· Background working within a large company preferred. Functional Area Skills/Knowledge:- Strong business acumen, customer focus and team orientation.- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business or related position is required.- Expertise to work efficiently in a matrixed organization.- *Evaluate and identify internal and external talent to build organizational bench strength and create competitive advantage, while providing compelling growth opportunities for associates.- *Partner with client group leaders on the talent review process, including the creation of succession and development plans for leaders and associates.- *Collaborate in the development and implementation of Human Resources initiatives in support of organizational priorities.- Provide leadership and partner with management to drive processes in support of the Business and HR priorities. These include change management, talent acquisition and development, performance and compensation management, succession planning, associate engagement, employee relations, organizational design and restructuring.- *Monitor/assess the effectiveness of human resources programs and processes, using metrics to evaluate progress and taking actions as appropriate to achieve improvement.- *Manage projects for client groups, such as performance review process, compensation/merit review cycle, associate engagement survey, organizational restructuring and job standardization. *Key functionsThe above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
