Westerner Park is seeking an Human Resources Assistant summer student to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program! Here’s what you’ll be doing: Assist with day-to-day operations of the Workforce function including both HR and Volunteer support Provide clerical and administrative support to the Workforce business unit Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) Update and maintain the Workforce Share Point and respective documents Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc. ) Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc. ) and take minutes Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Communicate with public services when necessary Coordinate communication with candidates, pre-screen, and schedule interviews Support onboarding and offboarding processes Assist with recruitment and sourcing candidates and updating our database And more!
