Job Title: Horticulture Lecturer / Land Based Studies Lecturer Location: Syon Manor College, Isleworth, Greater London Salary: Qualified - From £36,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications Starting from £28,000 (Unqualified Teacher/Instructor) Starting from £32,000 (ECT) Starting from £36,000 per annum (Qualified Teachers) Hours: 38.5 Hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:30 to 16:30Contract: Permanent, Term Time only Are you an Horticulture Lecturer / Land Based Studies Lecturer committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people with a passion in this field of employment? Syon Manor College are looking for an experienced passionate Lecturer. The successful candidate will join an up-and-coming team of like-minded professionals within a new Specialist Post 16- Further Education setting. Ideally, you would have experience working with learners in a post-16 setting and have an ethos centred around care and development. The post requires a qualification in a related field or experience within the trade of work and experience within Education – QTLS route + ECT’s are encouraged to apply. Purpose of Job To prepare, deliver and backss an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated Horticulture/land Based Studies curriculum. To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential To contribute to maximising standards of student attainment To share and support the Colleges’ responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth To participate in marketing and promotion.
