HGV Mechanic Location: Sherburn in Elmet Shift: Days Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 50,000 Overtime paid at an enhanced rate About your new company My client is a large HGV Maintenance company with depots around the UK. They work to the highest of standards and offer constant training and progression paths. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join their ever growing team. About your new HGV Mechanic role: Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanics on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful applicants will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, your duties will include; : Vehicle inspections. : General servicing and pre: planned maintenance. : Reactive maintenance as required. : MOT preparation / presentation. : Correction of running defects. : General HGV Mechanic duties The successful HGV Mechanic will require: : You will have an in: depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers. : Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but no essential). : The successful HGV Mechanic must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City and Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair. : Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic The successful HGV Mechanic will receive: : Competitive salary : Attractive pensions : On site parking : Training for HGV license, Irtec and LOLER : Discount on tool purchases : 21 days holiday Next steps If this sounds of interest or you are looking for advise on your next HGV Mechanic role, please contact: Shane at Kemp Recruitment on 440 (BT Local Rate) for further information.
