Our client manufactures and installs specialist engineering products throughout the UK and is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Officer or HSE Adviser to join their team. Commutable from Leicester, Hinckley, Coalville, Fleckney and Market Harborough. Other Job Titles include HSE Advisor/Adviser, H&S Officer, QHSE Consultant, SHEQ Consultant, and Health & Safety Advisor/Adviser. The Role of Health & Safety Officer: - To provide the risk backssments and method statements necessary to ensure safe working practices both in-house and on customers' premises - Carry out a weekly inspection at our factories and report on any issues arising, frequency to be determined by yourself - Carry out a weekly inspection of an installation and report on any issues arising, frequency to be determined by yourself - To maintain a training register and ensure all employees are kept up to date with health & safety matters that affect their ability to carry out their jobs safely - Any other duties as required Minimum Skills / Experience Required: - NEBOSH or other relevant IOSH Qualification - Manufacturing industry background/experience - Experienced in a similar role, responsible for making decisions and implementing policies - Pro-active mindset and solution-driven - UK Driving Licence The Package - Health & Safety Advisor or HSE Advisor: - Starting salary up to £45k dependent on experience - Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:30 - 32 Days Holiday - Pension About Precision.
