We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer with good gas, utility or hazardous industry experience gained in a technical and/or operational environment, for a permanent position in Guernsey. Salary of circa £60,000 per annum plus bonus, 25 days holidays plus statutory, pension matched up to 7.5, mobile phone, free parking, private health insurance and On-Call and Call Out payments. Hybrid working is available - part island working and part from UK home. We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer with good gas, utility or hazardous industry experience gained in a technical and/or operational environment, for a permanent position in Guernsey. Working as the successful Health & Safety Officer, it is essential that you are an excellent communicator and be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will have experience in a technical and/or operational environment and a NEBOSH Diploma or similar level H&S qualification or working toward. Working in an island-type environment, you must be resourceful with a good attitude. It would be an advantage if you have: Ideally 5 to 10 years gas industry, utility or high hazard experience in a technical and/or operational environment. Degree level qualification preferred, ideally in H&S or Engineering discipline. Chartered or Incorporated within an Engineering or Safety related professional institution. NEBOSH Diploma or similar level Health & Safety qualification or working towardinteractionperience in Process Safety You will sit within the operational team to provide advice, guidance and assist on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure the network and facilities are.
