Overview Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Leader’s primary role is to provide guidance, direction & support of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) for current and new Divisions and Partners. The successful incumbent will be responsible for conducting risk backssments, identify workplace hazards, investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and provide statistical summaries of health and safety performance. Key Responsibilities Responsible for obtaining COR and maintenance of the COR for all Divisions and Partners. Responsible for Prequalification’s implementation and maintenance for current and new Divisions and partners. Responsible for the further development of automated reporting and maintenance for Divisional statistics for reporting. Monitor and analyze project Environment, Health and Safety performance and recommend/assist in implementing mitigating measures for the project. Responsible for the development of specific Divisional and partners safety processes and program requirements. Provide support and guidance in the investigation of all projects related incidents including lost time, fatalities, and major vehicle accidents. Lead the maintenance and updating of the Company’s Bis Trainer systems. Responsible for ensuring compliance to regulations and client requirements for health and safety. Provide support to the Project Management Team when required. Act as subject matter expert for HSE Matters Act as a primary contact for systems and programs for the Divisions and our partners. Create various communications including but not be limited to, site bulletins, newsletters, alerts for Divisional use. Provide project support to ensure alignment between the Company and Client. Provide competent resourcing and support for Foreman and Supervisors in incident investigations. Lead a minimum of two corporate safety audits per year.
