Working out of prestigious offices in Nottingham, the successful Health and Safety Manager : Machinery and Automation candidate will thrive within a technology focussed solutions environment and will be responsible for a range of duties that will include (but not be limited to): Technical leadership Conducting and assisting with machine risk backssments during the design phase to ensure Machinery Directive requirements are met and assisting projects during the development and installation phases in order to ensure that all H and S and safety rules, guidelines and policies are understood and adhered to at all times. Reviewing all aspects of machinery compliance on an ongoing basis and supporting the design team in order to ensure adherence to relevant machine design directives, UKCA/CE marking and applicable international standards. Assisting in the creation and maintenance of associated machinery documentation and manuals and verifying information detailed therein once design pass off is achieved. Liaising with the design team and other departments as required, utilising excellent communication and influencing skills to ensure safety systems are integrated and risks are backssed and adequately managed.
