Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Brighton (80% remote)This position oversees the effective and timely delivery of Study Group software and systems development, as well as the maintenance of all software platforms. It involves communicating development progress to project management teams, and business partners as needed, and within the Technology department. The role ensures that Study Group development resources possess the required skills, addressing resource constraints proactively. Additionally, it involves crafting and implementing the Study Group IT project delivery methodology in line with strategic business objectives. ABOUT THE ROLE Manage the delivery of projects and platform enhancements on time and on budget. Perform resource allocation and workload assignment according to delivery requirements. Plan projects and product enhancements in sufficient detail to ensure integration of all activities and identification of dependencies. Analyse customer requirements, set delivery priorities and adjust schedules to meet delivery goals. Maintain motivated delivery teams, including third party development resource, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards. Actively build contingency plans to ensure on time project delivery. Working with IT Leadership, proactively participate in the build and management of platform and delivery roadmaps. Ensure that systems are in place to enable staff to be appropriately equipped with operational skills required for their role. Fully align the performance plans of staff to achieve organisational outcomes and evaluate performance accordingly. Build a productive working environment through constructive, regular and timely feedback and by ensuring appropriate involvement, delegation and monitoring of staff. Encourage a culture of accountability, trust, managed conflict, commitment, results, coaching, professional development and self-improvement. Coach team members and others to.
