PCH Treatment Center is a psychological treatment facility located in Mar Vista community near Santa Monica, California. We are currently seeking a Group Therapist who has experience working with chronic and severe mental illness.Reports to: Clinical DirectorGroup Therapists are contracted to provide group psychotherapy that is consistent with the overall approach of PCH and the individual clinical needs of PCH clients. Therapists play an integral role in the multi-disciplinary team by assessing clinical needs, as well as participating in the development and execution of treatment plans. Group therapists work closely with Program Directors (Case Managers), the clinical director, and other clinical/medical staff to ensure clinical success for our clients. Common Responsibilities: Provides daily clinical progress notes in client's electronic health recordAttends and participates in clinical team meetingsAssists with clinical assessment and treatment plan for assigned clientsParticipates in discharge planningParticipates in multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clientsIndividual sessions for all assigned clientsGroup counseling, education, and meetings per program scheduleMaintains ongoing communication with client's Program DirectorCommunicates with family/support system throughout duration of client's treatmentParticipates in trainings, and individual/group supervision meetingsMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Clinical Director Education/Experience Required: Must have 5+ year Licensure in the state of CaliforniaMust have 3-5 years' previous individual/group psychotherapy experience requiredPrior experience in a treatment center or psychiatric facility preferred Knowledge/Skills: Proficient in Family TherapyAbility to work with multi-disciplinary team necessaryCompetent with computer systems and electronic recordsAble to communicate effectively with staff, clients, families and referentsPsychoanalytic/Psycho-dynamic background or experience a plusWe offer the following:Excellent compensationInnovative Training ProgramsProfessional Growth & Stability
