Requisition Number 13-0037Post Date 1/23/2013Title Group Care Worker I STARRCity LynnState MADescription A short-term 24 hour assessment program for DCF assigned children ages zero -12yrs old located in Lynn , is seeking a Group Care Worker I.This position provides daily coordination of direct-care staff and youth in executing the plan of the day in accordance with the program, DCF, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures.Assignments include:Ensuring that required programming is followed Maintaining safety and security of the programTransporting residents Maintaining proper documentationCommunicating effectively with children, families, and funding source personnel and administration.Shift available: Mon-Fri 6am-10am This is a union position.Qualifications BA/BS in related position and 1yr related experience with population preferred. Applicants must be at least 21yrs old with a valid MA drivers license and reliable transportation.
