They are looking to expand their current installations team and are seeking motivated civil operatives local to Middlewich. This role will cover UK-wide travel undertaking all aspects of installation work. Other suitable job titles may include Civil Ground Worker, Slot Cutting Operative or Traffic Management Operative. The Role of Groundworker / Civils Operative: - To carry out tasks set by site supervisors to a high and safe standard. - Working on carriageways and highways. - Carriage work excavation - Working out in teams of 2-3 operatives - Operating floor saws, excavators, wacker plates or other groundwork machinery - Operate and carry out job set tasks. - Ensure that you have been briefed and understand all relevant risk and method statements. - Use best/safe practice on all tasks carried out. - Maintenance of equipment and machines - Ensure a safe tidy place of work. - Communicate with the site supervisor on any health and safety concerns. - Feedback to site management with near miss/close call reporting - Ensure attend all site briefings, forums and toolbox talks. Candidate Requirements: - Must hold a Street Works accreditation SWQR or have equivalent experience within the civil traffic management industry - Has experience operating floor saws, excavators, wacker plates or similar groundwork machinery.
