The Role: As a Grounds Person, you will contribute to school upkeep, with a primary focus on sports fields, lawns, shrubbery, paths, and borders. Responsibilities: Undertake minor construction and landscaping work. Execute weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance program. Mark out and set up playing pitches. Utilise appropriate techniques for sports surface care. Assist with garden area maintenance. Address seasonal tasks like leaf clearance and snow removal. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and external users. Ensure safe equipment operation. Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines. Fulfil reasonable requests aligned with role responsibilities. Requirements: Previously worked as a Grounds Person or in a similar role. General knowledge of grounds maintenance. Capacity to handle diverse and demanding workloads. Previous work experience in the education sector.
