Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity to join a Housing Association based in London who have a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance Team Lead The main aim within this vacancy is to organise and assist with grounds maintenance schedules and standards. To ensure grassed areas, hedges, shrubs, beds and estates are maintained to required specification. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and security on all estates. To continuously look at ways to improve services. The main aim within this vacancy is to organise and assist with grounds maintenance schedules and standards. To ensure grassed areas, hedges, shrubs, beds and estates are maintained to required specification. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and security on all estates. To continuously look at ways to improve services to customers and ensuring a value for money service Key duties will include Lead and motivate a team of multi-skilled staff. Support reporting on the grounds maintenance budget by providing accurate reports of actual and forecasted spend, and leading on regular interim audits/stock-takes Organise a regular timetable of visits to estates and establish a rota for Grounds Maintenance on each estate. Supervise and line manage a team of multi-skilled staff monitoring the standard of work through 1-1’ and performance reviews taking the appropriate action when required Maintain all communal external areas including grassed areas, Shrubs, hedges and beds, drying areas, car parks and play areas where appropriate, in line with the Grounds Maintenance specification working to the seasonal schedules to deal with growth rates through differing seasonality Monitor standard of work performance, undertake monthly team meetings, complete 1-1’s and performance reviews.
