Benefits RN hourly pay: $65-$75 per hour Wide range of facilities and shift types (weekday, weekend, day/night/overnight, etc.), with Hospital at Home options available Customized pay periods, with weekly or daily pay options and tax withholding each pay period Overtime, holiday, and hazard pay (where available) and bonus opportunities Eligibility for our 401k retirement plan (company matching) Employer-covered workers' compensation and malpractice insurance Eligibility for medical and dental coverage, with coverage options for qualifying family members Tuition discounts of up to 34% at Excelsior University (undergraduate and graduate programs) Access to a mobile-friendly app for easy management of all your job needs Free continuing education courses and other app-based training to keep your career on track RN Duties and Responsibilities Receiving orders and care plans from a virtual care team and preparing daily patient assessments for patients during the acute phases of their illnesses Collaborating with virtual nurses and hospitalists to identify needs and interventions for hospital at home patients and providing ongoing support for advanced care planning Participating in home visits and transition of care management Administering nursing interventions, such as vascular access care, infusion, and wound care Providing coaching and assistance to patients regarding treatment decisions as well as other health education support Making evidence-based clinical decisions that align with medical necessity guidelines, practice standards, industry standards, best practices, and contractual requirements Complying with all requirements related to scope of practice, facility policies, and legal directives Leading clinical operations and medical management across the entire continuum of care (assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating) Receiving information from patients about specific symptoms and questions Maintaining patient engagement by establishing rapport, demonstrating empathy, and building a trusting relationship RN Qualifications and Skills Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license from an approved nursing program Minimum 2 years experience in an acute care, in-patient, hospital setting (1-3 years of recent experience) Ability to place a peripheral line with experience maintaining and accessing midlines and PICCs Current CPR for Healthcare Providers Certification from the American Heart Association Ability to travel to multiple patients' homes during your shift and to work independently Strong clinical and assessment skills Hepatitis B and MMR records, and current influenza vaccination Updated resume Ready to Take the Next Step in Your Nursing Career?
