General Surgeon---- Atlanta-- Georgia --This metro Atlanta hospital system, with three campuses throughout the northern suburbs, is seeking two board-certified or board-eligible general surgeons to join two employed practices due to growth. Each practice has an existing general surgeon, who has been practicing in the respective practice for a few years. --- Competitive salary --- Bonus based on quality incentives and wRVUs --- Complete benefits packet (including retirement benefits and pension plan) No Visa candidates The practice is a comprehensive, full-service practice specializing in the wide scope of general surgery. Our board-certified physicians have years of valuable experience and use state-of-the-art, minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic techniques to treat abdominal, thyroid, and soft-tissue disorders that range from the simplest to the most complex. Treatments offered for: --- Gallstones and gallbladder problems --- Stomach, adrenal gland, pancreas, and spleen disorders --- Gastroesophageal reflux disease and hiatal hernias --- Hernias --- Diverticulitis and colon cancer --- Thyroid and parathyroid disease --- Skin and soft tissue lesions --- Breast masses and cancerThe hospital system consists of 3 hospitals. The bed size for each hospital is 537 beds, 247 beds, and 84 beds, respectively. The hospital system services an area that includes 8 counties consisting of a population of more than 3 million.
