Apply for position at: www.star3.com Location: US IN-Crane Employee Type: Full-Time/ Non-Exempt Travel Required: No Relocation Accommodation: No Approximate Start Date: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection Posting Close: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection TRISTAR is seeking an General Maintenance Technician for our government customer located in Crane, IN Position Description: This position requires practical skill and knowledge in facility maintenance such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work Position Responsibilities: Work involves a variety of duties to include but not limited to: replacing light bulbs, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets Painting structures and equipment Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles Replacing damaged or discolored ceiling tiles Hanging doors and installing door locks Replacing broken window panes Fastening equipment or structures to concrete flooring Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery Position Requirement: Prefer 2-3 years of maintenance or carpentry/construction experience General facility maintenance skills Attention to detail Basic Microsoft Office skills Knowledge of Hazardous Material Management Lock Out / Tag Out training Fall protection training Prefer 2-3 years of maintenance or carpentry/construction experience Must be a US Citizen An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one Education and Certification: HS Diploma or GED COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees will be required to adhere with TRISTAR's vaccination policy.
