GAP CLAIMS ANALYST (REMOTE) Phoenix American Companies is currently seeking GAP Claims Analysts to join their team remotely. Our extensive expertise in the vehicle service contract industry combined with our longstanding insurance partnership with members of the Nationwide Insurance Group, rated A+ XV (Superior), have established us as a leader in the Service Contract and GAP Waiver industry! About the role: The GAP Claims Analyst will concentrate on analyzing and reviewing claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility, while in direct contact with agents, claimants, inspection agencies, insurance, and finance companies. Essential Job Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management. Review incoming GAP claim documents and follow up accordingly. Identifying needed information to process and complete GAP claims. Sending written correspondence to finance companies and contract holders. Reviewing, evaluating, and processing GAP claims for payment. Reviewing and processing third-party GAP inspections to determine the proper course of action. Assisting underwriting with incomplete information on the GAP waivers. Answering GAP customer's questions. Working collectively with department personnel to finalize GAP claims. Minimum Job Requirements: Proficient mathematical skills, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office product skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills, maintain confidentiality, and remain open to ideas and suggestions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, identifies and resolves problems in an effective and timely fashion. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment in all internal/external interactions. Ability to manage time effectively. Ability to work as an effective member of a team. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Self-starter, self-motivated, and maintain the ability to work independently. Candidates who are shortlisted are required to travel to the Miami office for 2-3 weeks of training.
